Herr: This beer has a very english ale flavor, its light but flavorful. Has a small head and a very dark brown color. It smells sweet and tastes so too. Malty and chocolatey With little hints of apple. I enjoy it though it would be a little rich to get drunk on.Herr score:

Budweiser American Ale – Ale St Louis – MO
Found: Everywhere
Alcohol Content: 5.3%

Herr: This beer was pretty surprising to me. Being marketed as a Budweiser beer I assumed it would taste terrible but It’s actually not all that bad. It pours a nice head and is a nice amber brown color. It is pretty sweet and malty but has enough hops to counter it. It doesn’t do anything special but doesn’t really mess anything up either. It is probably a good transitional beer for those used to the lager piss that is American beer to the diverse world of micro brews.

Land Shark – Lager St Louis – MO
Found: Everywhere
Alcohol Content: 3.2%

Herr: This is a relatively new beer from the Jimmy Buffett owned Margaritaville brewing company. It has an odor similar to a beer with a bit of malt but doesn’t really have that harsh sweet taste. It has a little bit of the MGD flavor without the regretfull metallic aftertaste. If Corona was pepsi than Land Shark would be Coke. I really enjoy it.

Mountain Crest Gold Lager- Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Found: Liquor World, BK Liquor, KY Liquor
Alcohol Content: 4.7% |

Sketch: This lager is a step up form original mountain crest and a huge s tep up from lucky lager as well as cleark creek ice. There isn’t much to complain about when the price is $6.99 canadian a 6 pack and doesn’t taste like crap like the bottom of your bingo lottery, crack addicted, back washing, grandmothers last sip of bottled pepsi… you know.. its got all of those bits of bread or what ever the hell she was gnawing on and is still stuck in her teeth floating all through it like a heavy pulped orange juice.. christ its sick. Miller Chill – Chelada- Milwaukee, WI
Found: Pretty much anywhere
Alcohol Content:.%
|
Guerro: I’m not sure what Miller was trying to accomplish with this one. I understand how perhaps a real Chelada from Mexico could be good. Miller makes an effort to recreate that authentic experience and turns it into an artificial lime flavoring overload with a hint of something that resembles beer. I had purchased a 6pack well over 2 weeks ago and just now I’m finishing the last one. 6packs usually last about 2 hours around here so that should tell you something. I’m not sure if I should class this as a “Specialty beer or just a crappy beer. Well even as specialty beers go this is still crap. VIVA REGURGITATION!

Full Sail LTD series – Lager - Hood River, Oregon
Found: My locker at work(don’t ask cuz i don’t know)
Alcohol Content:6.4%
|
Guerro: Yes the found is real. Being the alcoholic I am it really doesn’t matter where it came from, it’s not open so it’s game. This is some strange Limited Edition Lager. I happend to get the 2nd batch from whatever number they choose to stop at. Pretty good lager. I get a hint of Sam Addams from this beer. Being a Lager it is very much “ALE” in color and in flavor while still managing to keep the “LAGER” qualities. If you can get your mitts on this one its worth the price of whatever a 6er is. I love the beer gnomes that live in my locker.
